Welcome to #TeamPreseason. 1. Matt Ryan Not expected to play.
2. Matt Schaub Projecting roughly one quarter.
3. Kurt Benkert Projecting roughly three quarters.
RB
1. Devonta Freeman Not expected to play.
2. Ito Smith Not expected to play more than 1-2 series.
3. Brian Hill Only 32 snaps last preseason, but did catch six balls.
4. Quadree Ollison Big power back in college. Reports from camp indicate he’s fared well as a pass-catcher.
5. Kenjon Barner Competing for pass-down role.
6. Tony Brooks-James UDFA 6th-stringer.
WR
1. Julio Jones Not expected to play.
2. Calvin Ridley Not expected to play, hamstring tweak.
3. Mo Sanu Not expected to play.
4. Russell Gage Second-year man battling Justin Hardy for No. 4 WR role.
5. Justin Hardy Only has two catches over the last two preseasons despite 70 snaps.
6. Devin Gray Was on ATL’s practice squad last season.
7. Marcus Green Sixth-round rookie Falcons hope will win return job and help in gadget role.
8. Olamide Zaccheaus Was one of the stars of ATL’s intra-squad scrimmage earlier this week.
9. Shawn Bane UDFA rookie out of NW Missouri State. Listed at 170 pounds.
10. Kahlil Lewis Reportedly in the hunt for one of the final two WR spots.
11. Christian Blake Reportedly having a strong camp so far. 181-pounder bounced around practice squad last season
12. CJ Worton UDFA out of FIU, went 37-627-6 as a senior.
TE
1. Austin Hooper Not expected to play. Rest of TEs tough sells in positionless Showdown format.
K
1. Giorgio Tavecchio Lone true PK on team with Matt Bryant gone.

 

BRONCOS

QB NOTES
1. Joe Flacco Not expected to play.
2. Kevin Hogan Will start. Projecting roughly one quarter, but could play more.
3. Drew Lock Second-round rookie. In a best-case scenario, gets a little of 1st quarter plus all of 2nd and 3rd.
4. Brett Rypien UDFA, will finish out game. Projecting roughly one quarter.
RB
1. Phillip Lindsay Not expected to play. Had a back issue earlier in the week.
2. Royce Freeman Not expected to play.
3. Devontae Booker Not expected to play.
4. Khalfani Muhammad Only 5’7/174 but trying to push Booker and now Theo Riddick for roster spot.
5. Devontae Jackson UDFA rookie out of West Georgia. Only 5’6/180.
6. David Williams 2018 7th-rounder showed well in preseason finale last year with 13 carries plus six catches. 6’1/229.
WR
1. Emmanuel Sanders Will not play.
2. Courtland Sutton Will play 1-2 series at most.
3. DaeSean Hamilton Not expected to play.
4. Tim Patrick Not expected to play.
5. Juwan Winfree Has been the main target for Hogan during practice. Some reports have him already locking up the No. 5 WR spot.
6. Fred Brown Serious chance to make the team. 6-foot-1 with 4.48 speed. Went 7-99-1 in 2017 preseason, 13-90-0 last year.
7. Kelvin McKnight UDFA rookie out of Samford. He is 5’8 and caught 100 balls his senior season. Has been generating some buzz at camp.
8. Trinity Benson Faring well as a returner in camp, but has struggled as a wideout.
9. River Cracraft Been dealing with an oblique injury. Not expected to play.
10. Brendan Langley Was a CB on the practice squad last year, now playing WR.
11. Steven Dunbar 6-foot-3 second-year player. Appeared in one regular season game for SF last season.
12. Jamarius Way UDFA rookie out of South Alabama. 6’3/215 but only 4.63 speed.
13. Nick Williams Veteran slot receiver was just signed last week.
TE
1. Noah Fant Broncos have three injuries at the TE position. Unclear how much they’ll let Fant play.
K
Brandon McManus Broncos waived Taylor Bertolet, leaving only McManus as true PK on roster.
