Cleveland @ Detroit

Team Totals: Lions 27, Browns 17.5

The Browns enter Week 4 having managed point totals of 16 (vs. CIN), 17 (@ BAL), and 13 (vs. GB) amid calls for third-round rookie Dillon Gabriel to replace fading 40-year-old Joe Flacco, who averaged a microscopic 3.9 yards per attempt in last Sunday’s upset win. Browns RT Jack Conklin (elbow) missed Week 3, and fill-in RT Dawand Jones suffered a year-ending knee injury against the Packers. The Lions’ D/ST is an elite play. … One of Cleveland’s few to-date offensive bright spots, Quinshon Judkins controlled 19 of 24 (79%) Browns running back touches versus Green Bay, showing explosive between-the-tackles ability. Dylan Sampson (five snaps) was all but deleted from the backfield, while Jerome Ford played on passing downs. Beyond his carries, Judkins stood out on a chip block of Micah Parsons, putting Parsons on his rear end. The rookie brings a violent play style. Matchup and projected game script are working against Judkins here, but the Ohio State alum can absolutely play and should continue to earn more and more playing time.
