- Snaps and Pace: Pat Thorman called this game a slow-paced slog. The 49ers have had negative PROE marks in three of Brock Purdy’s four starts, versus two of Mac Jones’ eight games. San Fransico’s games yield nearly five more plays when Jones starts (125.6) – an average that would rank fourth highest. Purdy’s games would rank as the 20th most voluminous. The Browns score the fourth-fewest points and gain the second-fewest yards on a per-play basis. Only the Raiders generate less EPA per play, and no one has a lower success rate.
