It’s back-to-back season with each of the five games having some back-to-back impact with two teams on the back end and very likely to rest players (Lakers, Nets).
Monday morning, we got some bad news on the Nets with Spencer Dinwiddie suffering a partially torn ACL. He’s expected to make a full recovery for next season. The Nets will certainly throw more on the plates of Caris LeVert and Landry Shamet, and this should definitely put Tyler Johnson and maybe even Bruce Brown in the rotation now. Shamet would likely be elevated to the first unit.
The Nets also have a back-to-back set today, so Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving may not play. KD said he wants to play, but he’s a coin flip at best. Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot would be looking at a big boost in playing time while Taurean Prince, Jeff Green and Rodions Kurucs could also play more. No Kyrie would put Tyler Johnson and Bruce Brown in bigger spots.
