Philadelphia @ Tampa Bay
Team Totals: Eagles 22.5, Bucs 21
Tampa’s D/ST is firmly in Week 4 play against Jalen Hurts, who committed seven turnovers in Philly’s first three games and won’t have A.J. Brown (hamstring) or DeVonta Smith (concussion) on Sunday. Even depth WR Britain Covey (shoulder) landed on I.R. this week. RT Lane Johnson (concussion) is also in doubt. The good news for Hurts is Tampa Bay’s defense has been shredded by quarterbacks on the ground, having allowed the NFL’s second-most rushing yards to the position (140) and a league-high three rushing TDs. … Sans its star wideouts, Saquon Barkley deserves to be the centerpiece of Philly’s offense against a Bucs defense nursing injuries to starting DTs Vita Vea (knee) and Calijah Kancey (calf), neither of whom played last week. Tampa has allowed the NFL’s sixth-most fantasy points to running backs, while Barkley is looking like the odds-on 1.01 overall fantasy pick if we re-drafted today. Three games in, Barkley leads the league in touches (73), rushing yards (351), and all-purpose touchdowns (5). Barkley has been electrifying in the open field.
