Dynasty Outlook and Profile Summary
April 14
Jayden Higgins is our WR6 for rookie drafts and checks in as WR35 in our overall dynasty ranks. He was a late breakout in college, but that can be at least somewhat explained by his high school background and COVID. Once Higgins arrived on a Power Four campus, he was a go-to weapon, even playing with another Day 2-caliber draft prospect, Jaylin Noel. The scouts and data both align in comparing Higgins to Nico Collins, indicating that he has high-end WR1 potential for fantasy. It is worth noting that it took Collins three years to make a real NFL impact.

By the Numbers
Higgins was just a two-star recruit out of high school given a late commitment to the sport (he was a tremendous basketball player), COVID, and playing at a smaller school. As a result, he started his career at Eastern Kentucky. After 757 yards and 10 TDs as a sophomore, Higgins transferred to Iowa State, where he was an immediate impact player and the team’s leading receiver. He out-produced fellow classmate and projected Day 2 pick Jaylin Noel for two seasons, though his official statistical breakout occurred as a senior. Higgins saw more targets down the field as a junior, seeing more work schemed up for him as an established target earner in 2024.
