NBA Injuries
Name | Game | Time (EST) | Ailment | Designation |
---|---|---|---|---|
Isaiah Jackson | IND @ OKC | 8:00 PM | Achilles | Out |
Jarace Walker | IND @ OKC | 8:00 PM | Ankle | Out |
Nikola Topić | OKC vs IND | 8:00 PM | Knee | Out |
Here are the teams on the second night of a back-to-back: Brooklyn Nets, L.A. Lakers, Oklahoma City Thunder
Here are the teams on the front end of a back-to-back: Charlotte Hornets, Portland Trail Blazers
The most important injuries to watch out for:
Jusuf Nurkic (Questionable) – The Blazers aren’t a particularly deep team in the frontcourt so if you remove someone of Nurkic’s stature, you open a lot of opportunity in the most attractive game environment on the slate.
Karl-Anthony Towns (Questionable) – We think Towns plays, but his absence would certainly open up more opportunity for Minnesota value.
Eric Bledsoe (Questionable) – Bledsoe is listed with “eye irritation” so it seems likely he’ll be able to play tonight, but if he can’t, the Pelicans would be replacing 60-65 backcourt minutes a night. Value would open up, particularly with Nickeil Alexander-Walker, J.J. Redick, Josh Hart, and Kira Lewis Jr.
LeBron James/Anthony Davis (back-to-back rest?) – We likely won’t know until much later in the afternoon, but if either player sits, it would create a huge void of opportunity to fill.
