I bet the under on Kansas City scoring 23.5 points (-115) at Foxboro after considering the Chiefs have scored fewer than 20 in seven games this season, while the Patriots are allowing 20.9 points per game. Patrick Mahomes is fantasy’s overall QB8 and has finished below 21 standard-league fantasy points in six straight starts. I’m valuing Mahomes as a low-end QB1 play here. Only four defenses have surrendered fewer fantasy QB points than Bill Belichick’s. … With Isiah Pacheco’s (shoulder) return another week away, the Chiefs will turn back to Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Jerick McKinnon behind Mahomes. In Week 14’s loss to Buffalo, CEH narrowly out-snapped McKinnon 32 to 30 but out-touched him 13 to 7, only to lose scoring-zone work to McKinnon. I’m valuing CEH and McKinnon equally as RB3/flex options.
The Chiefs revamped their wideout rotation in Week 14’s defeat, most notably featuring Rashee Rice as a near-every-down player (82% snaps).
