Kansas City @ Seattle

Team Totals: Chiefs 20, Seahawks 22.5

Only Josh Allen and the Bills have schemed more play-action (36.5%) than Kansas City (35.6%), which HC Mike Macdonald has stumped for 5.3 yards per attempt (third), zero touchdowns, and two picks (per Fantasy Points Data). The Broncos, which have suffocated play-action at a similar rate, limited Patrick Mahomes to his second-fewest passing points (13.4) all year — he ultimately delivered a QB9 score with 7/23/1 rushing. It’s a worrisome QB2 matchup for Seattle’s 10-day rest. … Leading his position in rushing yards (665), yards per game (133), and rate of 10-yard carries (21.3%), Kenneth Walker III returns to the PNW, which boasts the first unit he’ll see inside the top 14 of our Defense vs. Position table against RBs — Seattle ranks 11th, allowing a season-high 68 yards to Christian McCaffrey in Week 5. (In fact, the most rushing yards they’ve allowed under Macdonald is 91 to Kyren Williams in Week 11 last season.) Walker’s 82% share of backfield touches (fifth) obviously offers an extremely high floor, but his single-game ceiling is in question for the first time this year. Emmett Johnson’s 10% target share out of Kansas City’s bye, on the other hand, was a season best.
