I’m slamming the over on this game’s total anywhere from 47 points on down in a battle between Kyle Shanahan and Shanahan disciple Mike McDaniel; this is a game where I expect both offensive wizards to show off. McDaniel was already thinking ahead to this game last week, when he rested starters in the third quarter against the Texans. … Few positives stand out as to Tua Tagovailoa’s Week 13 matchup, especially with starting OTs Terron Armstead (toe/pec) and Austin Jackson (ankle) both potentially on the shelf. But I’m trusting McDaniel’s scheme, Tua’s ability to get the ball out quickly and mitigate San Francisco’s pass rush, plus Miami’s explosive supporting cast to keep Tagovailoa afloat as a surefire QB1. Entering Week 13, Tua leads the NFL in PFF passing grade, ranks first in the league in passer rating, and leads the NFL in yards per pass attempt.
