N.Y. Jets @ Kansas City
Team Totals: Chiefs 29, Jets 19
Geno Smith enters Week 9 as fantasy’s QB21 in points per game missing top WR Garrett Wilson (concussion) facing a Chiefs defense yielding the NFL’s eighth-lowest completion rate (62.3%), 10th-fewest yards per pass attempt (6.6), and eighth-lowest passer rating (80.6). I’d rather play Kansas City’s D/ST than Geno. … Finally back from his five-week quad strain, Breece Hall will almost certainly return in a timeshare after Braelon Allen averaged 5.4 yards per carry and 114.8 total yards over Gang Green’s last five games. As Allen is a 235-pound power back and Hall shines in the passing game, a complementary duo would make logical sense featuring Allen on early downs and Hall as the change-of-pace and lead receiver. Allen and Hall are both flex options against a Chiefs defense holding enemy RBs to the NFL’s eighth-fewest fantasy points. I’d side with Hall if forced to choose between the two.
