The over on Jets-Lions at 47.5 is one of my favorite Week 3 bets. Gang Green’s offense has shown functionality under first-year OC Frank Reich, while this game will be played at the NFL’s version of Coors Field. Fileted on defense to the extent that DC Kelvin Sheppard may soon go on job watch, the Lions allowed 30+ points in each of their first two games. Geno Smith has a chance to be a viable QB1 streamer for an extended stretch with the Lions, Bears, and Browns on his Weeks 3-5 docket. … Breece Hall has been the high-volume workhorse we’ve been hoping for with touch counts of 24 and 21. He even led the Jets in receiving (5/63/0) in Week 2’s loss to Green Bay, a useful development for when future game scripts go south. The Lions have been waxed for a combined 41/215/2 (5.2 YPC) rushing line by enemy running backs. Hall is confidently an RB1 starter at Ford Field.
