Turning up a bit lately as fantasy’s QB13 over the last month, Derek Carr now encounters a pass-funnel Bucs defense hemorrhaging the NFL’s fifth-most fantasy quarterback points and fifth-most yards per pass attempt (7.6). I’m still reticent to qualify Carr as more than a two-QB/Superflex-league starter since he’s cleared 20 fantasy points twice all year. … Alvin Kamara’s Week 17 matchup doesn’t stand out positively, but he’s handled at least 14 touches in six straight appearances and out-snapped No. 2 back Jamaal Williams 44 to 13 in last Thursday’s loss to the Rams. Kamara caught a whopping 13 passes when the Saints hosted the Bucs in Week 4. I’m approaching Kamara as a boom-bust RB1/2 bet in this situation.
Chris Olave is a screaming Week 17 smash with 100+ yards and/or a touchdown in six consecutive appearances. The Bucs have hemorrhaged a league-high 2,916 yards to enemy WRs.
