Minnesota @ Chicago
Team Totals: Bears 27, Vikings 21.5
The Vikings look likely to trot out Carson Wentz in place of Kyler Murray (concussion) for Sunday’s mouthwatering bout with Chicago’s swinging-gate defense. Shelled for Week 1’s overall QB3 fantasy result by Bryce Young, Bears DC Dennis Allen’s unit got torn apart at all three levels by one of football’s least intimidating offenses. With the Vikings’ supporting cast at full strength in Kevin O’Connell’s pass-friendly system, Wentz is a legitimate QB1 streamer and worthy of DFS investment. … Jordan Mason and Aaron Jones formed a near-even Week 1 split, with Mason narrowly out-touching Jones (15 to 12) and Jones out-snapping Mason 30 to 29. Each ran seven routes. Mason is a TD-or-bust flex play, albeit a better one than usual this week considering the soft opponent. Jones would be a low-floor, low-ceiling flex option. Hyped rookie Demond Claiborne was a healthy scratch in Week 1.
