Minnesota @ New Orleans
Team Totals: Vikings 22, Saints 20.5
Kyler Murray’s finish to Week 4’s win over Miami was encouraging — he completed 13 of 14 passes for 120 yards with no sacks taken over Minnesota’s final two drives — but Murray’s overall performance through three appearances as a Viking has been shaky at best. He’s also barely running, not reaching 20 rushing yards in a game. Murray will play this week’s contest without LT Christian Darrisaw (concussion) and LG Donovan Jackson (knee surgery, I.R.). The Saints’ D/ST is a realistic streamer here. … Aaron Jones’ touch counts over the past three weeks are 23, 22, and 24 on corresponding snap rates of 81%, 80%, and 73%. Demond Claiborne and DeeJay Dallas have been total non-factors. As Saints DC Brandon Staley insists on living in light boxes, and New Orleans’ front seven has been hit hard by injuries, no defense has surrendered more fantasy points to running backs than the Saints’. Jones is an upside RB2. … Jordan Mason (thumb, I.R.) is due back next week.
