We’ve got a nine-game slate to kick off the third week of the season, but there aren’t too many new injuries to monitor today. Of course, some guys who missed the last game could miss another one today.
Top Questionable/Doubtful Tags to Watch
Rockets-Mavericks has two big question marks with James Harden (ankle) officially questionable and Luka Doncic (quad) unofficially questionable. Back on Saturday, coach Stephen Silas said that he was a little surprised to find out Harden may not play against the Kings, but his ankle injury from Thursday looked fairly minor. With the Rockets, we already found out John Wall, Eric Gordon and Christian Wood would be looking at additional shots. Plus, P.J. Tucker went from a 0.0 usage rate on Thursday to actually getting shots on Saturday. For the Mavs, it’s obviously Jalen Brunson who benefits most with his 31-point game and coach Rick Carlisle said there was “no doubt” Brunson could take over. Trey Burke was the backup while lots of shots went around to everyone else.
