Passing Game Outlook
San Francisco’s 2025 season can be easily summed up: Brock Purdy, Jauan Jennings, Ricky Pearsall, and George Kittle were available and on the field together for 179 out of 1,010 total offensive plays (17.7%). Even so, Purdy registered his position’s sixth-most points per game (19.7), dragging the team’s leftovers to 7.3 yards per pass (ninth) when he returned from injury in Week 11. Having already shown he can score with the elite tier of QBs, Purdy should be viewed as a mid-round weekly starter or, better yet, a QB1 hiding as a QB2 in Superflex leagues.
Poached from Tampa Bay on a three-year, $60.4 million deal, Mike Evans is coming off his worst season of the last decade: three touchdowns, 10.6 points per game, and 1.6 yards per route run across a career-low eight appearances. Given Purdy’s league-leading completion rate (52.9%) on throws 20+ yards downfield, Evans’ ceiling any time he plays should compete for top-12 status. His egregious ADP (64) is only so low for the assumption he’ll miss time.
