Early Drafters
Dameon Pierce (65% – FAB Budget): If you drafted early, Pierce may be on your waiver wire. The rookie runner is positioned to get the bulk of the workload on early downs for the Texans. You’re probably going to have to pay up for Pierce if he’s available, where I could see getting more aggressive on him here if you have an obvious need at running back. On the flip side, on a team where you are very well-positioned at running back, you shouldn’t be paying the premium on Pierce.
Mike Davis/Kenyan Drake (5%): Davis is positioned to get significant run against the Jets on opening day. Drake is the more dynamic player, and could end up supplanting Davis early in the season. One of these two players will still have a role once J.K. Dobbins returns, but that role may diminish once Gus Edwards comes back.
