Monday Night Football Doubleheader
Cincinnati @ Denver
Team Totals: Bengals 18.5, Broncos 25.5
(Gulp…) Cincinnati’s projected 18.5-point team total is actually lower than last week’s 19.5 points that resulted in the Bengals suffering their worst loss in franchise history. Teams traveling into enemy territory against Sean Payton’s Broncos have averaged 14.5 points dating back to last year. … There’s an ounce of hope for Chase Brown despite Cincy’s -54 yards before contact “created”: Cleveland, Jacksonville, and Minnesota — the team’s first three opponents — rank top 15 in yards after contact per carry whereas Denver sits 29th, leaving a hair of wiggle room for Brown with LB Dre Greenlaw (quad) placed on I.R. Brown remains a hold-your-nose RB2 for out-touching the rest of this backfield 55-11. Samaje Perine’s thumb injury could boost Tahj Brooks for a handful of routes.
