Team Totals: Raiders 23, Titans 18.5
Finally flashing the promise that made him April’s No. 1 overall pick, Cam Ward took a torch to Arizona’s defense in the second half of Week 5’s upset win, going 15-of-24 passing for 207 yards (8.6 YPA) over the final two quarters. Ward still isn’t even a top-30 fantasy quarterback scorer on the season, but the performance offered forward-thinking hope. He’s at least a two-QB-league consideration against a Raiders pass defense with below-average metrics across the board. Titans RT JC Latham (hip) appears to have a chance to return from his four-week absence, which would be a big deal versus ferocious LE Maxx Crosby. … Tyjae Spears made his 2025 debut in Week 5’s victory but handled just four touches on 17 snaps, playing well behind Tony Pollard (17 touches, 49 snaps). Spears (ankle) was also limited in practice this week, perhaps suggesting he’s not yet 100%. The Raiders’ defensive strength has been versus the run. I’m treating Pollard as a ho-hum RB2/flex option.
