In Week 1, I played the Jaguars and Steelers in nearly all of my entries. Last week, I played the 49ers in roughly three quarters of my entries. This week, I plan to diversify significantly more.
Chiefs at Dolphins
Spread: Chiefs -10.5

Nobody likes bounce-back or letdown spots more than I do, but I’m not sure most football fans realize how bad the Miami Dolphins are right now. Similar to last week, the Chiefs are better than Miami at every position group, except linebacker and running back, and Kansas City has the radically better coaching staff.
I’d be surprised if Patrick Mahomes and/or Kenneth Walker III didn’t have strong days against this defense, which simply does not disrupt the quarterback.
Steve Spagnuolo against Malik Willis in what will likely be another negative game script for Miami, where Kansas City will have a trench advantage, is another positive for the Chiefs.
Bottom line: From a pure football perspective, many things will need to go wrong for Kansas City to actually lose this game.
That said, I generally try to hold Kansas City in as many entries as possible, every year. That Week 9-11 stretch in particular is very enticing.
Overall, I will play some Kansas City with little reservation, but I’m going to do my best to be below the field so I have one of the most reliable teams in the league in as many live entries as possible later in the year.
