In speaking with The Athletic, HC Ben Johnson let the world know of his intentions:
“I want to have the highest-scoring offense ever, which happens to be the 2013 Denver Broncos. I know how many points per game they scored [37.9], and I want to surpass them.”
With prize free-agent S Coby Bryant (knee surgery) out through December, Caleb Williams is expected to have his foot on the gas weekly. Another leap in his Success Rate (24th, up from his No. 30 finish as a rookie) and individual EPA/play (from 28th to 19th) would allow him to exceed last year’s QB7 (in points per game) finish.
