I took the over on Bears-Lions at 48 points with Justin Fields (thumb) back and Chicago’s starting O-Line at full strength for the first time all season. In last year’s two dates with Lions DC Aaron Glenn’s defense, Fields dropped rushing lines of 10/132/0 and 13/147/2. This year, Detroit has permitted the NFL’s ninth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks. … I’m throwing up my hands trying to project the Bears’ Week 11 backfield with Fields healthy, D’Onta Foreman (ankle) limited, Khalil Herbert (shin/ankle) coming off an apparent setback, and rookie Roschon Johnson still involved. I’m passing on starting any Bears RBs here.
Fields’ 2023 target distribution: D.J. Moore 36; Cole Kmet 32; Herbert 18; Darnell Mooney 17; Johnson 12 … It’s not a sexy stat, but Moore has provided a livable floor having cleared 40 receiving yards in nine straight games. The Lions have yielded the league’s ninth-most fantasy points to wideouts, cementing Moore as a confident WR2.
