Buffalo @ Minnesota
Team Totals: Bills 24.5, Vikings 21.5
Josh Allen’s only other start against a defense ranked top five on our Defense vs. Position page — Brian Flores and the Vikings sit first — resulted in his fewest fantasy points this year (versus the third-ranked Chargers). What’s more, Minnesota’s allowed one QB (Jordan Love) to reach 11 passing points, and none since Week 2. Allen’s always capable of breaking any slate — he ranks fourth in EPA/dropback against the blitz, which we all know is coming — but it would not be shocking if this was his worst performance to date. … There’s an obvious crack in Flores’ game that the Bills will presumably follow: The last two teams to face the Vikings produced their lowest Pass Rates Over Expectation — Jonathan Taylor and Seth McGowan combined for 29 carries; Jahmyr Gibbs and Sione Vaki blended for 34 (for 5.9 yards per run). Expect both James Cook and, for showdown, Ray Davis to rival their season-high mark for carries for a viable effect.
