Washington @ Dallas
Team Totals: Cowboys 22.5, Commanders 19.5
Coming off his season-worst performance to date — Carson Wentz absorbed a whopping nine sacks and averaged 4.9 yards per pass attempt in Washington’s embarrassing 24-8 home loss to the Eagles — Wentz draws a ferocious Dallas defense yielding just over 17 points per game and leading the NFL in sacks (13). Weeks 1-3 opponents Tom Brady (QB26), Joe Burrow (QB17), and Daniel Jones (QB20) accomplished next to nothing against Cowboys DC Dan Quinn’s unit. I’m loving Dallas’ D/ST this week. … Decidedly negative script in Washington’s Week 3 multi-score loss to Philly dictated J.D. McKissic out-snapping Antonio Gibson 41 to 34. Gibson did still out-touch McKissic 13 to 9 against the Eagles, while HC Ron Rivera admitted this week that Brian Robinson (leg surgery) maintains no timetable for return. As enemy RBs have churned a robust 4.6 yards per carry and 127 total yards per game against Dallas, I’m sticking by Gibson as a solid-if-unspectacular RB2 play and not yet willing to pull the trigger on McKissic.
