Commanders-Cowboys has shootout written all over it to the extent I’m on this game’s over big time at 50.5 points. Inside JerryWorld against a Dallas defense that looked inept against a humdrum Giants offense last week, this is a get-right spot for Jayden Daniels. Not only did Jaxson Dart notch a career-high 134.2 passer rating versus the Cowboys, but DC Christian Parker’s unit lost FS Malik Hooker (forearm) and MLB DeMarvion Overshown (hamstring) along the way and conceded 11/54/0 on the ground to Dart, notable since Daniels is also a dual threat. Daniels is very DFS viable here. … Jacory Croskey-Merritt is an uncomfortable click after he got benched for Kaytron Allen in the fourth quarter of last week’s 2-point loss to the Eagles. But the Commanders know JCM is by far their most talented runner and will be needed if they’re going to have a competitive year. Giants RBs tagged Dallas for 26/111/1 combined rushing and 4/22/1 receiving last week. Croskey-Merritt is a boom-bust RB2/flex option in one of the best matchups he’ll draw this season. … Week 1’s JCM benching is still a reminder that Allen — not Rachaad White — is Croskey-Merritt’s handcuff, and JCM’s ball insecurity isn’t new. Allen should be rostered everywhere.
