Philadelphia vs. Jacksonville (in London, England)

Team Totals: Jaguars 24.5, Eagles 17

Take your partner apple picking rather than watching this one: Philadelphia’s scroll of sudden absences includes traded C Cam Jurgens and the mid-week retirement of Lane Johnson, who, simply put, the Eagles need — their offense sunk to 28th in EPA/play with 6.7 yards per attempt (24th) with Johnson off the field last year (per Sports Info Solutions). With only one top-five finish since Week 10 (after Philadelphia’s bye) of last year, lower your expectations for Jalen Hurts, who can be dropped for a streamer in 10-team leagues — Jacoby Brissett, C.J. Stroud, Sam Darnold, etc. … With Saquon Barkley (hamstring) labeled week-to-week and Tank Bigsby (core muscle surgery) placed on injured reserve, Will Shipley will be leaned on in the interim. His on-paper matchup admittedly lacks a ceiling — the most rushing yards the Jaguars have allowed to any player since last year is 74. But Shipley’s led this backfield in routes run (Barkley included) as a pure receiver, and Jacksonville’s leaking 47.9 per-game receiving yards to his position (31st). He’s a clean RB2, with only Dameon Pierce (freshly promoted from the practice squad) behind him.
