Team Totals: Lions 30, Jaguars 17
Trotting out Mac Jones again with Trevor Lawrence’s (shoulder) season on the brink, the Jaguars are predictably massive dogs visiting the NFC’s best team. Even over a month after losing EDGE Aidan Hutchinson (broken leg), the Lions enter Week 11 ranked No. 3 in the NFL in QB pressures (195). If Jones performs anything like he did in Week 10’s loss to the Vikings, I’d bet on C.J. Beathard entering at some point. … Travis Etienne hasn’t topped 85 total yards in a game all season. Tank Bigsby’s Week 10 ankle tweak doesn’t sound serious enough to cost him Week 11. The Lions have allowed the NFL’s fifth-fewest fantasy points to RBs this year. If the Jags do get down big like they’re forecasted to, passing-down specialist D’Ernest Johnson could end up with lots of work. … It’s difficult to have any confidence in Jaguars pass catchers with Jones/Beathard at the helm. Evan Engram (eight targets, 6/40/0 receiving) was Jones’ go-to guy in Week 10’s defeat. But the odds of lob thrower Jones successfully dealing the ball downfield to Brian Thomas Jr. and Gabe Davis seem very long.
