Drake Maye has been on the struggle bus for an extended stretch; including playoffs, Maye is 107 of 175 (61.1%) passing for 1,214 yards (6.9 YPA) and a 7:8 TD-to-INT ratio over his last six games. It must be noted that two of those occurred against Seattle and one in a Denver snowstorm. It’s still been quite a while since we’ve seen Maye produce at fantasy-useful levels, and he remains without No. 1 WR A.J. Brown (ankle, I.R.) for the foreseeable future. Jacksonville doesn’t profile as a particularly positive or negative matchup, but I also don’t envision Maye as the lock QB1 starter he was all last year. … TreVeyon Henderson’s Week 2 return ignited the Patriots’ running game after Rhamondre Stevenson’s early lost fumble. Henderson’s game-breaking ability is needed in an offense that otherwise lacks it, but Stevenson isn’t going away as the more trusted player, particularly in pass protection. I’m considering this a near-even split going forward, rendering both unsafe-floor flex plays. Jacksonville is 19th in fantasy points allowed to running backs two games into the season.
