Definitive statements are tough to make about Lamar Jackson’s outlook entering a new offense under 30-year-old OC Declan Doyle, but Jackson made it through training camp unscathed after an injury-hampered 2025, and Doyle’s résumé is promising, cut from the Sean Payton and Ben Johnson cloth. Hamstring woes behind him, Jackson is a threat to run wild on Lucas Oil Stadium’s turf. Colts DC Lou Anarumo runs a high-percentage man-coverage defense, which can be vulnerable to dual-threat QBs because defenders turn their backs to the offense. … The Ravens are at a glaring personnel disadvantage on the interior offensive line, where three-time Pro Bowl C Tyler Linderbaum left for Las Vegas. At center, they’ll turn to fourth-year practice squad type Jovaughn Gwyn to make his first career start against Colts behemoth DTs DeForest Buckner (6-foot-7, 291) and Grover Stewart (6-foot-5, 334). It’s a big matchup concern for Derrick Henry and may force Jackson to shoulder more of Baltimore’s offensive load than usual. I’m taking overs on Lamar’s rushing props.
