The Texans have surrendered the NFL’s eighth-most fantasy RB points, including the seventh-most receiving yards to Kamara’s position (195). … Kendre Miller racked up touches in garbage time during New Orleans’ Week 5 blowout of New England, finishing with 12 carries and four catches. Miller’s usage is highly unlikely to carry over here, but the third-round pick remains an exciting season-long bench stash who could explode if Kamara went down.
Carr’s 2023 targets: Chris Olave 37; Michael Thomas 31; Rashid Shaheed 20; Kamara 17; Juwan Johnson 8; Miller and Taysom Hill 6. … Only the Jets and Browns have permitted fewer fantasy points to WRs than the Texans, yet I’m stubbornly standing by Olave as an upside WR2 play beneath Houston’s dome. On throws from Carr, Olave leads the Saints in targets, catches (22), yards (272), and first-down conversions (14).
