Fantasy Kicker Tiers & Rankings 2026

Targeting kickers in fantasy football isn’t much different than other positions. We’re looking for a combination of talent and opportunity. Opportunity is just tougher to pin down week to week thanks to the variance in how an NFL game can play out. Therefore, we want kickers who we know can capitalize on the opportunity when they get a chance, and those who play on offenses that are likely to be in “scoring position” more frequently. Kickers who play home games in an ideal weather environment (domes) also see a slight boost in our rankings. Over the past five seasons, kickers who play their home games in a dome average 0.5 points per game more compared to kickers with outdoor home stadiums.

Here’s how we’re viewing kicker tiers in 2026 based on talent and opportunity:

Tier 1: Brandon Aubrey

Brandon Aubrey* (DAL) – It’s Brandon Aubrey’s world, and we’re just living in it. Since making his NFL debut in 2023, Aubrey has finished first, third, and third overall in kicker scoring. He’s averaged 11.1 points per game over those three seasons and has shown rare consistency as a fantasy producer. No other kicker is above 9.7 points per game in that span. To finish as a top-12 fantasy kicker over the last five seasons, you’ve needed roughly 8.7 points per game. Aubrey has a substantial gap on that threshold, producing 2.4 points/game over the replacement-level option.

That’s a pretty massive edge in fantasy scoring. Last year, A.J. Brown was the WR12 with 12.1 half-PPR fantasy points per game. If you look 2.4 half-PPR points per game down from him, you’d find Terry McLaurin, the WR31. Aubrey’s 11.1 PPG average would’ve finished as the WR16 last season, tied with Jameson Williams.

Aubrey is the clear top kicking option in all fantasy formats and, given his separation from the field over the last three seasons, is worthy of a selection in the 130s or 140s of 12-team redraft leagues.

Tier 2: Consistent Performers in Similar Situations

Ka’imi Fairbairn* (HOU) – Something might be going on down in Texas, as Fairbairn joins Aubrey as the only two kickers to finish in the top five in points per game each of the last three seasons. In those three seasons, Fairbairn has nailed 91% of his field goal attempts and 96.5% of his extra points. Only one kicker in NFL history has a career average over 90% on field goal attempts, and that’s Cameron Dicker, who we’ll hit on in a second. Fairbairn has simply been one of the most accurate kickers of all time over the last few years and has the same setup in Houston to replicate another top-scoring fantasy kicking season.
