July 23: Ricky Pearsall (hamstring) starts on NFI list
James Palmer reported that Pearsall will be out this week and be eased in after that.
ETR Take: This isn’t ideal for a rookie WR, especially one who’s already fighting for targets and snaps with Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel entrenched as the top two WRs, but we’re not changing our projection right now assuming Palmer’s timeline is correct. In the grand scheme of things, missing four days of practice in July is hardly the end of the world. We’ll keep watching here to make sure Pearsall is back next week.
