If your season-long fantasy team is struggling: There’s still plenty of time to right the ship and make moves to put yourself in a position to make the playoffs. If you started out hot: Now’s the perfect time to get that one last piece to put you over the top.

Trading is a critical component of optimizing your fantasy football team. Today, we’ll walk through some pairs of similarly ranked players and nominate one as a buy candidate and another as a player to sell. This ideally serves as inspiration for exact trades you can make, but it’s also more general advice on players we believe are valued too high or too low.

BUY GEORGE PICKENS, SELL ODELL BECKHAM

With Matt Canada out of town, the Steelers could look to get more creative with Pickens’ usage. This is more speculation rather than anything concrete with his role lately, but Canada’s exit provides a glimmer of hope for a more voluminous role.

Over the past two games, Beckham has run a route on 37% and 52% of Ravens dropbacks. Rashod Bateman has overtaken him as Baltimore’s WR2, and Beckham’s value should be pretty decent after two solid box-score outings.

BUY JAMESON WILLIAMS, SELL CHUBA HUBBARD

Williams ran a route on 65.8% of Jared Goff‘s dropbacks in Week 11, a new season high. The exciting young speedster is clearly ascending, and we’ve seen Josh Reynolds sporadically post usable fantasy outings before. If Williams can get that role to himself, he’ll be a fine fantasy option.

Miles Sanders out-carried Hubbard in Week 11, and this backfield looks like it’s back to an even split. Hubbard had gotten at least 69.2% of Carolina’s designed rushes for four straight games, but things appear to have swung back Sanders’ way.
