Haynes King, Carolina – We know Bryce Young won’t play, and recent reporting from Panthers beat reporter Joseph Person suggests that the expectation is for QB2 Kenny Pickett to only play 1-2 series before giving way to King. That line of thinking tracks with our expectations entering the week; Carolina is interested in getting a long look at its UDFA rookie, who was a priority signing for them after the draft. King’s playing-time expectation is around three quarters, and we expect him to make the most of it from a fantasy perspective while he’s out there. He posted a 473/2,413/37 rushing line in his collegiate career, offering the dual-threat upside we dream of in preseason.
