Passing Game Overview
Following an injury-marred 2022 where he battled a concussion before a neck issue ended his season in Week 11, Matthew Stafford is now 35 and has seen his offensive line and weaponry disintegrate since the Rams’ 2021 Super Bowl win. After essentially not throwing most of last offseason due to an elbow injury, Stafford allegedly looked like his normal self during spring work. Still, Stafford’s fantasy arrow is pointing in the wrong direction in a passing offense that has little behind Cooper Kupp. Offering zero rushing value, Stafford would likely have to flirt with 35 touchdowns to be any sort of season-long QB1 option. And with this supporting cast, that seems like a near-impossible feat.
