For new subscribers: The Drop List consists of players who are no longer must-have assets. Recommended additions are available in over 50% of ESPN, Sleeper, or Yahoo leagues. The Watch List contains in-depth notes on fringe waiver adds, and Deep Leagues includes player notes on potential waiver adds in 14-team and 20-round leagues. A Change Log with an updated injury report and streamers list will be added ahead of any Saturday night waivers.
If your roster is top-heavy and exclusively limited to the best stashes who could become startable in a pinch, we recommend following the updated One Injury Away list ahead of Week 4.

* Justin Herbert’s next four games are against a slate of defenses collectively deflating opposing QB performances by -6.6% (first). Pull the rip cord now.
* Baker Mayfield will miss a “minimum of three weeks” after dislocating his right thumb. Even before his injury, Mayfield was merely a streamer as fantasy’s QB15 > QB21 > QB27.
* De’Von Achane is officially out for the season after suffering a torn ACL against the Chiefs.
* Marshawn Lloyd fumbled in the fourth quarter of Week 2, and Green Bay’s RB touches have since been divided between Kaleb Johnson (7), Lloyd (6), and Chris Brooks (5). I’m not actively trying to drop Lloyd, but let’s be honest: there’s no starter here.
* Jonathon Brooks is labeled “week-to-week” for reaggravating the same groin he injured in camp. Similar to my view on Marshawn Lloyd, I’m not actively trying to cut Brooks; your bench could be in a situation where he’s not worth holding.
* Christian McCaffrey‘s share of backfield touches has increased in every game (50% > 56% > 83%), squeezing any standalone value from Kaelon Black. I would not drop him on teams where I roster CMC.
* Jonah Coleman (ankle) left Week 2 as Denver’s only healthy RB, and entered Week 3 as its only injured one. He’s since been moved to injured reserve (for the next four games) and may not have a space on your I.R./bench.
* The more the Cardinals have watched Tyler Allgeier play, the more expendable he’s become (in handling 59% > 33% > 19% of the team’s backfield touches). He’s exclusively a contingency option (for Jeremiyah Love) at this point.
* Chris Godwin‘s 3.3 per-week catches (as fantasy’s WR47 > WR40 > WR69) are unstartable without Baker Mayfield (thumb) over the next month.
* Michael Wilson‘s target share has increased in every game (18.9% > 26.9% > 34%), rendering Marvin Harrison Jr. a trap that should be dropped and, hopefully, started by your opponents.
* Courtland Sutton‘s been targeted on 19% of his routes (58th) through Week 3 as the (unusable) WR64 in expected points per game.
* Alec Pierce aggravated his surgically-repaired heel and “could return midseason” — an ominous sign for his availability moving forward.
* Jayden Reed was stretchered to the hospital with a back injury in Week 2 and remains without a timeline to return.
* Dallas Goedert will miss “a few weeks” with an MCL sprain — enough time to feel comfortable dropping him for another plug-and-play option, such as Kenyon Sadiq or Darren Waller.
* Kyle Pitts’ target shares through three games: 4.7%, 9.6%, 8.6%.

For those looking to roster the best available player(s) regardless of position, the rankings above weigh every position, minus the players’ actual positions, for all formats. These are listed in the precise order I would prioritize waiver claims in those leagues for Week 4. Adjust for what you need on your roster — immediate touches, high-upside bench stashes, targets, one-week spot starters, etc.
