The 2026 Golf Season is Underway. Access To Our Projections and Content:

The Orlando Storm wrap up our new franchises, joining the league for the 2026 season after the San Antonio Brahmas were folded. The Storm get a familiar face at the helm with former St. Louis Battlehawks HC Anthony Becht getting the assignment in a state he calls home and an area where he once played. Becht built one of spring football’s most stable franchises in St. Louis, posting a 22-8 regular-season record in three years while establishing the Battlehawks as the premier brand in the league. Becht will look to replicate that same success in Florida with some new names on his offensive staff with Colin Thompson and Marc Colombo replacing former OC Phil McGeoghan as co-offensive coordinators. Colombo most recently served as the Battlehawks’ OL coach in 2025, while Thompson, at just 32 years old, will attempt to jumpstart a coaching career that, to this point, has only consisted of being an offensive assistant at the U.S. Naval Academy. Based on the personnel decisions made to construct this roster, we believe Becht’s offense will look more like the 2025 version of the Battlehawks than previous iterations when A.J. McCarron was under center. Becht quickly adapted after McCarron’s playing days ended, going from a 60.2% pass rate in 2024 to a league-low 47.7% pass rate in 2025 with dual-threat QB Max Duggan under center.
