N.Y. Giants @ Washington

Team Totals: Commanders 23, Giants 19.5

Although Jameis Winston’s high-variance play style helped orchestrate Week 4’s win, HC John Harbaugh and OC Matt Nagy have made it clear their preference is run-heavy, ball-control offense. They want to play keepaway. But Jayden Daniels’ (elbow) return on the other side increases this game’s scoring potential, while Washington has given up the NFL’s fifth-highest passer rating (106.8) and ranks bottom eight in sacks (7). Winston is a boom-bust QB2 whose outlook will suffer if Malik Nabers (knee, shoulder) doesn’t play. But as of Friday, it appeared Nabers was likelier than not to go. … Cam Skattebo enters Week 5 with to-date touch counts of 18, 16, 23, and 19. Najee Harris lost a Week 4 fumble, and Devin Singletary has been a healthy scratch in consecutive weeks. Washington has played stout early-season run defense, but volume is king at running back in fantasy, and Skattebo is getting it with his projection trending up. He’s a surefire RB2.
