Black Friday Sale is LIVE!

Last updated: September 2 at 1:13pm ET.

Auction drafts are a different beast. While it’s relatively easy to simulate a snake draft before the big day, auctions are very difficult to prepare for. That’s because so much of our strategy depends on what our opponents are doing and because we have to react to everything in real time. When our buddy Billy Bob is willing to spend 30% of his budget on Lamar Miller because he’s a huge Texans fan, things are going to change. When we don’t really like Zach Ertz but no one else in the league does either, our strategy will need to be adjusted.

With that in mind, below you will find our suggested Auction Values. Note that these are based on:

* A $200 budget
* A starting roster format of 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX
* Half-PPR scoring

Our recommended strategy for auction drafts is to focus on your starters. We will be better than our opponents at finding the upside $1 players and we will also be better at grinding the waiver wire. It’s often more valuable to overspend by $5 to ensure we land the top-tier players we want than it is to leave an extra $5 in the chamber to get a $6 player.

All that said, use these values as a rough guide. Be willing to adjust quickly, don’t let your opponents get away with anything egregiously cheap, be aware of how much money everyone has left and have solid list of end-game targets. Good luck!
