After a day off in the Association, we’re back with a massive DFS slate featuring a variety of game environments and unique factors to consider in each. Despite nothing to play for, Victor Wembanyama leads a Spurs team looking to finish the season on a high note, and we consider a matchup against the shorthanded Grizzlies one that could be ripe for fantasy scoring.
Despite just three games on the DFS slate for Saturday, there are plenty of decisions to make in uncertain game environments. The Sixers are big favorites against the perpetually shorthanded Grizzlies, but could one of Joel Embiid or Tyrese Maxey sit this one out? Meanwhile, the Nuggets are favorites against the Hawks but have meaningful questionable tags, including one that could elevate the projection on Michael Porter Jr.
Friday features a massive ten-game slate, with several compelling game environments and fragile spots to avoid. With Luka Doncic downgraded late this afternoon, Kyrie Irving is catapulted to the fore in today’s Top Plays.
The T-Wolves and Suns are highly motivated to improve their playoff seeds. That means tonight’s game between them is a high-stakes affair. Mike Gallagher is backing Anthony Edwards as a top-tier DFS option. His NBA Matchups column for Friday is live.
Five games are on Thursday’s NBA schedule, each with heavy playoff implications. We’re anticipating big minutes for key players, including Paul George, as the Clippers will continue to be without Kawhi Leonard as they take on Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets.
With so many teams on back-to-backs, we’ve got another chaotic slate on deck tonight. The Bucks are down three starters, so Giannis Antetokounmpo is expected to shoulder a big workload against the Grizzlies. Meanwhile, the Blazers and Hornets will be a popular source of salary relief in an unsightly game environment.
