As part of Week 15’s most severe on-field mismatch, the Chiefs should have all kinds of opportunities to get their run game rolling against a Texans defense hemorrhaging a league-high 165.8 rushing yards per game plus 5.1 yards per carry and the NFL’s most fantasy running back points. With at least 15 touches in five straight games, Isiah Pacheco is a surefire RB2/flex with some touchdown dependency. Passing-down role player Jerick McKinnon’s Week 14 eruption against the Broncos probably isn’t a sign of things to come, but he has a secure RBBC role in a high-powered offense with a friendly enough draw to be flex playable. … Game flow could become a box-score concern for Patrick Mahomes should K.C. quickly build an insurmountable lead, but in all likelihood, Mahomes would be a major contributor to such scoring. Mahomes stands to benefit from a healthy supporting cast and Sunday’s indoor setting at Houston’s NRG Stadium. It’s also worth noting that Jalen Hurts recently passed Mahomes as the betting favorite for NFL MVP, but Mahomes is well-positioned to catch up with a Weeks 15-18 schedule consisting of the Texans, Seahawks, Broncos, and Raiders.
