Washington @ N.Y. Giants
Team Totals: Commanders 21.5, Giants 19
Victors in six of their last seven, the Commanders visit MetLife Stadium winning with defense- and run-oriented football. Taylor Heinicke hasn’t reached 30 pass attempts since Week 8 and has finished below 16 fantasy points in 5-of-6 starts. He’s a two-QB-league consideration. … Brian Robinson and Antonio Gibson both profile as RB2/flex options after Robinson out-touched Gibson 20 to 12 in last week’s win over Atlanta, but Gibson (14) ran twice as many routes as Robinson (7) and will inevitably play more should Washington fall behind. The Giants have surrendered the league’s ninth-most fantasy RB points, including 5.21 yards per carry. … Averaging 78.8 yards over Washington’s last six games, Terry McLaurin remains WR2/3 playable against a Giants secondary missing No. 1 CB Adoree Jackson (knee). … In three games since returning from injury, Jahan Dotson has managed 27 scoreless yards on four combined targets. He appears to have no chemistry with Heinicke. … Curtis Samuel hasn’t topped four targets in a game since Week 7. The G-Men have allowed the league’s fourth-fewest fantasy points to WRs. … I am continuing to ignore Washington’s three-man TEBC of Logan Thomas, John Bates, and Cole Turner.
