Dallas @ New York

Team Totals: Cowboys 25.5, Giants 23

Firmly in play to lead the league in passing yards, Dak Prescott’s only blemish here is losing LG Tyler Smith to thumb surgery against New York’s bolstered front seven, including Abdul Carter, Brian Burns, and Ohio State LB Arvell Reese. A QB1 regardless, Prescott only failed to reach 200 yards against the Broncos (first in Passing Success Rate Allowed) and Eagles (fifth) last year. … The middle of the Giants’ defense is wide open after the team flipped DT Dexter Lawrence for the No. 10 overall pick (which then became RG Francis Mauigoa). That bodes well for Javonte Williams as Pat Thorman’s RB7, with no competition behind him after Jaydon Blue was waived. Williams’ long-term ceiling is in question — he finished 57th in Yards Per Route Run out of 59 qualifiers who ran 100 routes — but this matchup is primed for 20 carries and multiple scores.
