Marcus Mariota enters Week 10 TNF as fantasy’s overall QB10, albeit with weekly finishes all over the map from a consistency perspective. Arthur Smith’s Falcons offense is built decidedly on the run; 23 quarterbacks have attempted more passes than Mariota this year, despite the fact that Mariota hasn’t missed a single 2022 snap and Atlanta’s bye isn’t until Week 14. Thursday night’s matchup and game environment profile as middling enough that Mariota projects as a desperate QB1 streamer but surefire two-quarterback-league and single-game DFS-slate play. … The Falcons deployed a three-way RBBC in Cordarrelle Patterson’s Week 9 return from I.R.; Patterson and Tyler Allgeier (38%) were out in front in terms of snap rate over Caleb Huntley (21%), while C-Patt (14) paced the unit in touches narrowly over Allgeier (11) and Huntley (7) against the Chargers. Patterson obviously has the most playmaking ability — and is RB2 worthy against a Panthers defense hemorrhaging the NFL’s third-most fantasy running back points — but I would also be very open to selling high on Patterson in season-long leagues.
