N.Y. Giants @ Minnesota
Team Totals: Vikings 26, Giants 22
The Giants visit Minneapolis’ U.S. Bank Stadium dome on a short week following their emotional division win over Washington, critical for the NFC playoffs. Yet Minnesota is coming off its own draining victory after executing the largest comeback in league history over the Colts. On a Week 16 slate flush with bad-weather affairs, I like the idea of stacking Giants-Vikings or at least paying more attention to skill players involved than usual. … Daniel Jones fits those criteria facing a Vikings defense allowing the NFL’s fifth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks, including the league’s second-most yards per pass attempt (7.5). Under game-plan-adjustable Brian Daboll, we could see the Giants aggressively attack Minnesota via the pass. … Responding to questions about whether he’d hit a late-season wall, Saquon Barkley was a chunk-yardage machine in last week’s tough draw with Washington, turning 23 touches into 120 yards and a score. The Vikings’ defense has been stouter against the run than the pass but has permitted 79 catches to running backs, sixth most in the league. I love Barkley as a Week 16 DFS-tournament play.
