N.Y. Jets @ Baltimore
Team Totals: Ravens 29, Jets 15.5
The Jets come off a mini-bye after Week 11’s TNF loss to the Patriots continuing to grasp at straws on offense. Fed up with Justin Fields, Aaron Glenn is turning back to 36-year-old Tyrod Taylor in a seemingly impossible situation. Still missing Garrett Wilson (knee), the Jets’ pass-catcher corps is the NFL’s worst, while Baltimore’s defense is on fire since being restored to health; DC Zach Orr’s unit has allowed 14.8 points per game over its last five. … The story rarely changes for Breece Hall, a good player in an abysmal environment. Hall has played 72% of New York’s offensive snaps and averaged 19 touches over the last two games. On Sunday, he encounters a decidedly unfriendly matchup likely to face negative script on the nearly two-touchdown road-dog Jets. … I’ll be monitoring Adonai Mitchell’s stretch-run play but probably will not be teeing him up in fantasy. Against New England, Mitchell finished fourth among Jets WRs in snaps played and dropped three of six targets, catching only one for 10 yards. … On the season, Tyrod is 8-of-12 for 54 scoreless yards when targeting Mason Taylor. The Ravens have allowed the NFL’s eighth-fewest fantasy tight end points.
