Public sentiment was the Steelers had turned a corner on defense but, truthfully, were merely gifted Dillon Gabriel post-bye; veteran pocket sloths Carson Wentz and Joe Flacco produced top-12 finishes around Gabriel’s performance with 16 completions 10 yards downfield (second). Green Bay’s had a positive Pass Rate Over Expectation in all three games starting RT Zach Tom and LG Aaron Banks finished, giving Jordan Love a safe QB1 floor (and exciting ceiling if the Packers are pushed). … Even Chase Brown mustered a career-best 9.8 yards per carry against this Pittsburgh front seven that’s ceded 2.6 yards before making contact per run (fourth). Josh Jacobs scored two touchdowns (for the third consecutive game) through his calf injury in Arizona, and his 3.4% target share was his lowest without Jayden Reed (clavicle, foot). Needless to say, Jacobs is a no-brainer RB1 whose worst performances are worth starting. Emanuel Wilson (six carries in Week 7) is only playable in showdown if his salary allows you to build a top-heavy lineup.
