Carolina @ Atlanta
Team Totals: Falcons 22.5, Panthers 18.5
The Panthers are giving P.J. Walker another under-center turn after he banked Week 7’s QB15 fantasy result in Carolina’s upset of Tampa Bay. Walker now encounters a Falcons defense permitting the NFL’s third most yards per pass attempt (7.6) and third most fantasy QB points while ranking bottom four in sacks (11). Atlanta sent No. 2 CB Casey Hayward (shoulder) to I.R. last week, and this week No. 1 CB A.J. Terrell (hamstring) isn’t 100%. I’m on Walker as a two-QB/Superflex-league starter and DFS-tournament dart throw in stacks with D.J. Moore. … Especially with Chuba Hubbard nursing an ankle sprain, D’Onta Foreman offers 20-touch upside at Atlanta, which has allowed the NFL’s ninth most points per game (24.4). So long as Carolina stays close, Foreman will present a sky-high rush-volume ceiling. … Moore has dominated targets (17), catches (9), and yards (71) on throws from Walker, while the Falcons have given up the league’s most receptions (113), second most yards (1,455), and an NFL-high 11 TDs to WRs. … Post-Robbie Anderson trade, Terrace Marshall operated as Carolina’s No. 2 receiver in Week 7’s upset of the Bucs, drawing three targets on an 86% snap rate. Shi Smith manned the slot. Laviska Shenault was the Panthers’ No. 4. … Tommy Tremble and Ian Thomas continue to split time evenly at tight end.
