L.A. Rams @ San Francisco
Team Totals: Rams 27, 49ers 22.5
Sean McVay’s Rams visit San Francisco with a lofty team total in what’s expected to be a weather-unaffected game against a depleted 49ers defense. Last week, first-round DE Mykel Williams (ACL) and DE Yetur Gross-Matos (hamstring, knee) joined DE Nick Bosa (ACL) and MLB Fred Warner (ankle/leg) on I.R., while DE Bryce Huff (hamstring), DT Alfred Collins (hip), and WLB Dee Winters (knee) are less than 100%. I expect a squeaky-clean pocket for Matthew Stafford, whose 21 touchdown passes lead the NFL and are more than Stafford threw all last season. … As all of San Francisco’s defensive attrition has occurred up front, Kyren Williams gets the biggest matchup boost in Los Angeles’ offense. Although Williams’ 2025 workload isn’t what it was in recent years — McVay has made it a point to get Blake Corum deservedly involved — Kyren is averaging 19 touches per game and handled a season-high 25 carries in last week’s win over the Saints. He’s a low-end RB1 starter here.
